Venceremos! I took the Liberty of reformatting the below for better readability. With all the stuff that is going on in the world we need to figure out how to better process incoming information and share it with others.
For example, with sending this Email I can also post to Blogs that I have created via BCC: and I have several. A few are mainly for Info Storage to free up space on my hard drive.
I am usually on Twitter online @Peta_de_Aztlan using TweetDeck.
I now have 2138 Followers and only Follow 99 Global News Sources myself. I maiinly post Links to Headlines, Insights and Prayers.
We know Facebook is a CIA Data Mining website, but if we are not advocating anything illegal or outlandish online we can still utilize it without undue fear of self-exposure or being paranoid.
We are under a mature fascist surveillance state and must use our creative imagination to cope with it the best we can. All of our online groups should be wide open to anyone who is interested to encourage grow, inspire others and stimulate discussion. Even those who whom we may disagree have their right to freedom of expression.
If anyone gets outright reactionary we can always ban them into cyberspace.
Be aware of what others are thinking, right or wrong. Don't surround yourself with only 'Yes, I agree' people. Do not Follow the herd when the herd may not know where it is going. Do not mistake individual subjective knowledge for universal truth.

Here is a site where people can sign to help out Amnesty International Mexico in pushing for justice for those detained on December 1st in Mexico.
This is a great link. You do not have to be on facebook to access it. It has a little arrow with previous or next. They have pictures and a little bit of info regarding a lot of those detained on the 1st. Still looking for a non-facebook petition for people to sign.
This has a complete list of the detained and some of the same pictures and info.

There has been nothing I can find that comes close to actually covering what is going on in el DF in the English language press. They are charging students and professors with disturbing the peace and sentencing them to 5 to 30 years of prison. They seem to want to start the sexenio with a pretty strong message. This is just a few articles and videos you might find interesting if you haven't seen them yet. There are several facebook petitions to free the students that I know of and I will try to find more info on other petitions. They can use international support.

Judith Gómez Contreras (my friend), responsible and peaceful citizen who I worked with in the film festivals Distrital and FICUNAM, and who now works at Cine Tonalá, and is a graduate in film and television, was marching peacefully in the Center (of Mexico City), in full use of her civil rights on Saturday, December 1, in an act against the government takeover of EPN (Enrique Peña Nieto). They arrested her in Filomeno Mata and sent her to Jurisdiction 50. They have falsified a previous declaration, to say that she was detained on Avenida Juárez. Apparently, during the night of December 2 and the early morning today (December 3), everything had been clarified and she was to be freed this morning. But that has not been the case. They sent her to Santa Martha Acatitla, in a process that is clearly illegal an unjust. We fear for her physical well-being. Please spread this case throughout social networks. Given the current panorama, one thing we can do is participate, spread the word, and pressure the responsible authorities through social networks.

Distrito Federal— Los actos vandálicos que tuvieron lugar el sábado tras la toma de posesión del presidente Enrique Peña Nieto fueron planeados con dos semanas de antelación, revelan investigaciones de la Procuraduría del Distrito Federal.
Algunas de las personas que fueron detenidas por los disturbios aseguraron en sus primeras declaraciones ante el Ministerio Público que hubo una reunión física entre algunos de los líderes para definir los actos que habrían de llevarse a cabo el 1 de diciembre.
Tras este primer encuentro, que tuvo lugar en la Delegación Cuauhtémoc, los detalles fueron afinados por diferentes corrientes sociales para evitar que sus planes fueran descubiertos.
"Algunos detenidos señalaron que fueron convocados por Facebook, aunque no quisieron delatar quiénes los convocaron", señaló una fuente de la PGJDF cercana a las investigaciones.
A su vez, la Procuraduría General de Justicia del DF (PGJDF) consignó a 69 personas, detenidas el sábado en distintos puntos de la ciudad, por el delito de ataques a la paz pública en pandilla, que se castiga con una pena que va de los 5 a los 30 años de prisión sin derecho a salir bajo fianza.
Poco después de la medianoche de ayer, 58 hombres fueron trasladados al Reclusorio Norte y 11 mujeres ingresaron al Centro Femenil de Santa Martha Acatitla para que un juez determine su situación jurídica.
El trasladado de los consignados se realizó en medio de un fuerte dispositivo de seguridad, escoltados por policías de Investigación, que desde ayer hicieron guardia en el perímetro de la sede de la PGJDF, con el objetivo de evitar enfrentamientos, luego que familiares de los detenidos protestaron afuera para pedir la liberación de los detenidos.
Cinco de los consignados tienen antecedentes penales, agregó la dependencia. Asimismo, indicó que de las 85 personas que permanecían detenidas, las 16 restantes quedaron en libertad.
En tanto, aún no se define la situación jurídica de los 11 menores que también fueron aprehendidos el sábado.
Ayer, el procurador local, Jesús Rodríguez Almeida, confirmó que los actos fueron planeados con anterioridad, aunque aún se desconoce al autor intelectual.
"Derivado de todos los objetos, instrumentos que se utilizaron para realizar estos actos, los cilindros de gas para prender fuego, la granada de fragmentación y las diversas bombas molotov que tenemos (...) claramente se señala que hubo una premeditación, que hubo un plan específico para realizar actos violentos y atacar la paz pública de la ciudad", señaló.

Los manifestantes en contra de la toma de protesta de Enrique Peña Nieto como presidente de la República, convocados por el Movimiento Regeneración Nacional (Morena), empezaron a concentrarse en el Parque Borunda.
Con pancartas y mantas con mensajes de repudio, banderas rojas y negras, y moños negros, un centenar de manifestantes se reunieron para iniciar el recorrido a pie rumbo a la Plaza de Armas.
Al salir del parque, ocuparon los dos carriles de la derecha de la avenida 16 de Septiembre, provocando que el tráfico se vuelva muy lento, por lo que se alerta a automovilistas que necesiten circular por esa vía, para que tomen las debidas precauciones o busquen caminos alternos.

En la víspera del fin del sexenio --uno de los más oscuros en la historia del país y particularmente fatídico para nuestra ciudad—las organizaciones sociales firmantes damos testimonio de la deuda social, política, y moral con la que Felipe Calderón termina su mandato.
A lo largo de los últimos seis años en que, como organizaciones, acompañamos distintos procesos comunitarios pudimos constatar la estela de terror, muerte, e impunidad que éste régimen sembró en cada rincón de nuestra ciudad. Las dimensiones de la devastación producto de la llamada "guerra contra el narcotráfico" sólo son comparables con el dolor que nos ha dejado la pérdida de nuestros seres queridos.
En el contexto de la barbarie, los números no dan del todo cuenta de la magnitud del horror en el que Felipe Calderón sumió al país so pretexto de erradicar a los carteles de la droga, cuyas operaciones y estructuras –por cierto-- permanecen intocadas. Los "daños colaterales," como eufemísticamente ha llamado a los miles de muertos del país, a los desaparecidos, huérfanos, y desplazados, tienen nombre y apellido. Por cada uno de ellos habremos de reclamar justicia.
Desde el trabajo diario con la gente en las calles, en los barrios, en las escuelas, en las iglesias, en las universidades, en los espacios comunitarios hemos atestiguado cómo cada una de esa vidas arrebatadas --corolario de la militarización y la instauración de un estado policial sin precedentes-- representan lo irrecuperable de una parte de nuestro presente y futuro. Con el daño infligido se ha apagado una parte de nuestros sueños y se ha quebrantado nuestro porvenir.
Y es precisamente por el futuro de nuestros hijos e hijas que a pesar de todo buscamos seguir trabajando en la construcción de una Ciudad Juárez mejor para todos y todas. Hoy que se agotan las últimas horas de este sexenio de la muerte y se dibuja el comienzo de uno que tampoco se avizora promisorio, reafirmamos nuestra exigencia de justicia y nuestra convicción de trabajar porque la verdad sobre las consecuencias de la llamada guerra contra el narcotráfico se conozca y con ello se castigue a aquellos que desde los gobiernos federal, estatal, y local trasgredieron sus facultades y desviaron su uso del poder.
Exhortamos a las organizaciones progresistas de la ciudad y el país, a sumarse a los distintos esfuerzos ciudadanos por llevar a juicio a quienes usaron el aparato de Estado en contra de sus ciudadanos y ciudadanas provocando así la crisis de derechos humanos más profunda de la historia de Ciudad Juárez, del Estado de Chihuahua y del México contemporáneo. Como organizaciones sociales habremos de acudir a todas las instancias –incluso a los tribunales internacionales-- para que nuestra palabra y voz sea escuchada.
Ante el inminente relevo de la presidencia advertimos que no aceptaremos que el "haiga sido como haiga sido" se perpetúe como razón de Estado ante la cancelación de nuestros derechos. Le recordamos a Enrique Peña Nieto, electo con un mínimo margen de mayoría, que la única vía para la pacificación del país y de nuestra entidad es la de la verdad y la justicia. Iniciativas como las de "Todos Somos Juárez" ejemplifican de manera obscena la simulación gubernamental frente al reclamo ciudadano de respuestas, pero también debe alertar sobre el fracaso al que están destinados los programas en cuyo centro no se coloque a las personas y a su dignidad, o que busquen suplir la procuración de justicia con remedos asistencialistas. Afirmamos que no habrá reconstrucción sin justicia y que ese principio es el que guiará nuestra acción. La justicia es primero: Nada en Juárez sin justicia. Nada en México sin justicia.
